In Calabria sono tre le minoranze etniche presenti, che parlano ancora la propria lingua e mantengono alcune tradizioni volte a rimarcare il proprio legame con la madrepatria.
Si tratta di un patrimonio etno culturale di grande valore, valorizzato dall’UNESCO e preservato dalle istituzioni, dalle associazioni e dalle comunità locali.
